I had to modify the layout so that my adult cats could climb up & down. One cat is heavy, so I expected him to have trouble. The other is average size and very athletic and she still hesitated, especially going down. It needs to have parts sticking out along the way so that they can climb in stages instead of being expected to claw their way to the top and leap the whole way down like kittens or young adults.

If you have a kitten or small cat, I think you can purchase this product, but otherwise I would not recommend it. BTW, the third floor is really small for any cats who are more than 10 pounds. Overall, I think this product is overpriced and too small.

Unfortunately, this cat tree just isn't for my cats. I would suggest this for kittens or small cats. I have a 12-13lbs male cat and a smaller 8-9lbs female cat. Both have difficulty moving around the tree and it constantly rocks when either one is on it. It was pretty easy to assemble but I don't think it will last long with these two. Putting it together was fine until I got to The part that is called the "condo" the wood pieces were made backwards to where the carpet bottom is now having been to be on the ceiling, and the bottom the part the cat lays on is the particle board. Kinda disappointed

Don't let the size fool you, this is a tree for medium size cats at the most. Not very sturdy. For small cats it might be alright. The instructions were simple and clear but it does take a little time. It does look nice but my cat would still much rather lounge in his old, beat up tree. I did expect, for the money, a little better.

For the price of this cat tree ... it's marvelous! Our cats are adults cats, the eldest is probably a good 8 - 10 lbs, but he still thinks he's a kitten! They're still adapting to it, but it was a good buy, for sure! Trying to teach my chorkie that it's okay for our kitty's to use the scratching post on the bottom ... he thinks he's the Cat Police! LOL

It still went together fine with some thought. The problem is that the levels are so narrow, it's difficult for even my agile 7 pound cat to get up onto it. I removed the box cave so she would actually be able to get up, and she's still not loving it. I'd return it if it didn't mean having to take apart every level again.

I dont think she likes the place to sleep but it is nice soft to sleep in. I have had it about a week and she will just look at me in the tree and you can tell she is happy with it. Worth buying and putting together.The only thing I think the tree needs is longer screws to lock in and stop at a certain point. Great color, beige. ...

We have 1 small cat, she weighs next to nothing so the stability is not an issue for us. This is a very cool, fun tree that will be a sanctuary for her for sure. I wonder how the soft material will hold up once she starts really scratching at it, not sure about that part yet, but happy with the height and price and overall look&feel.

This cat tree is very stable, easy to install and good quality. Give cats a variety of ways to play. I am pregnant for 5 months now, there is no problem with the installation alone. This price is much better than the pet store. It is recommended to place it in the window. The cat likes to lie on the cat tree and observe the street.

This tree is with a small footprint so it doesn't take up much space. My only concern is when our 3 year old niece visits and could rock it back and forth. No fault of the cat tower since it was designed for cats and not kids. Assembly is pretty straightforward and we had completed within minutes. They were very entertained with us putting it together too and tried to lay all over the pieces before it was together!
